So if you’ve been reading you’ll know that i was making instrumental tracks and having writers block lyrically, but today i came up with some for the 11th track (in the series of 12). i like to show my work when i make music, like one of those math tests where you show how you figured out what Y is, because i love when musicians i like do that kind of thing. not that i’m a musician i just know how to use technology.
So it’s about not being able to stand sitting with yourself and jumping into any relationship (or the situationship) you can to avoid it, even if it isn’t necessarily a good one. The lyrics and vocals need work but i was able to make this reverse guitar tone from the fruityloops synths to do the solo that closes the track, and i just love how it sounds, it blends well with the arpeggio synth lines. It’s a from a thing i learned in piano lessons last Friday: atonality , because the notes aren’t the ones that make logical sense as far as the key of the track goes, but they still work.
i’m gonna hate it and be embarassed around noon, but right now i think it’s great.
