Oh yes, big day…much activity. Wow, I haven’t had a day as eventful as today in quite some times, i’m usually doing the same thing every day, which is waking up, making music or writing until my focus and energy runs out, taking a nap and trying to do it again after. Not today, though
Good thing I woke up at 6.
I’ve finally got a psychiatry appointment after a really long wait, which is great because I’ve been less than properly medicated for a few weeks now. Looking forward to not getting all teary eyed and emotional over the smallest joy or sadness that life throws at me, and be a little more stoic. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with a good cry, I just would like to have them a little less frequently and for more severe things… i’ll write these lyrics and be unable to sing them because I get all emotional, it’s counter-productive, I have at least five songs i’m working on that need vocals pinned down.
what else? oh, right: it’s moving day!
Finally, man. I’ve been mostly packed and ready to go for at least a week. Yesterday my housing worker gave me the OK, and said the move would be sometime after 4 today… The place is much nicer, in fact the apartment i’m writing this from is an absolute hell hole compared to where I’m going. Brand New, furnished, clean, without mice…everything you’d want.
If you feel compelled to warm my new house with housewarming things (I could definitely make use of).
That’s it, not a very long post today, because of all of the big things i’ve got to do. See, yesterday I was talking about how things have got to get better in a little while, because they were very much shit… there things go getting better just the next day. Funny how that is.
