since probably 2005, I would hear a Jamaican dancehall song on stereos all over Boston and then later even in Brooklyn (where i live in a jamaican neighborhood). for one reason or another I could never get name of the song, even though I was totally in love with it. Last night I sang it(as best i could) to The young Jamaican American nurse here at rehab. she actually found it on YouTube and now I have it in my Spotify and I can’t stop listening to it. that’s like a 15 year mystery solved! i am overjoyed! couldn’t name that tune forever!
of course I put it on my 2021 playlist which is shaping up nicely, I’m quite proud.
