I was thinking about it, and i was actually talking a lot of politics today. There was a time when i was so inspired by the democrats, so inspired by Barack Obama, and the whole john kerry “help is on the way” DNC 2004 speech. i dont know how W beat that guy, it seemed like such an easy choice. My family loved Clinton, we even wrote letters of support to him when he was running in 1992. I guess anyone is better than what the republican party is now, but that’s such a fucking low bar.
the whole thing is “oh, once you grow up and pay taxes you’ll learn to lean fiscally conservative”… no. I grew so far left that i want to build guillotines for the bourgeois.
Here’s the thing though: they’re all imperialist, capitalist war criminals…for profit, for industry. they just put on a mask that they give a fuck about marginalized people, and the poor…they dont. They are all about the military industrial complex, and the prison industrial complex, the expansion of the police state. Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are allowed to trade stocks for the industries they’re supposed to regulate. make it make sense, it’s dead wrong right out in the open.
That’s what almost makes them worse, they front like they give a fuck about your poor ass, but they are going to maintain the status quo of business as usual, because they benefit from it in many ways.
the only guy in modern mainstream politics i could fuck with: Bernie. i got down with everything he would say, everything he’s about. The DNC machine fucking robbed him. i know he could have beat fuck-stick trump in 2016, but the machine said hillary had to have her turn. fucking loser out of the gate. The trump presidency is as much democrat’s fault as it is the retards who support Trump.
here’s the other thing: the GOP will fight dirty, take gloves off and go low. The DNC fights back with the equivalent of a feather, they want to play a fair fight that doesn’t exist. get fucking dirty you pussies!
