Do you read this blog? Well, if so, thank you so much! I’ve greatly enjoyed hearing from some of you over the past week. I’m curious to know who else is out there and if anyone has recommendations or ideas about anything.
I’m about to transition into the next phase of my life, where I won’t be as closely guarded and surrounded by people. So, I’m considering creating some form of digital community. Not that I won’t have anyone to call, but I genuinely enjoy the interactions and work I do here.
I was contemplating a mailing list, perhaps. It’s pretty early in the morning, and I’m brainstorming. There used to be an email subscribe link I would include at the end of all my posts, but I’m not sure what happened to that. I think it required a Medium membership, which would mean putting my articles behind a paywall. That’s something I wouldn’t do, even though it’s a way to earn money from this. I prefer more people reading it over getting paid for it. Plus, there are those annoying fundraising pitches with my coffee link at the end of my posts, appearing when I don’t have much money and disappearing when I do.
So, I’m reaching out to the audience and asking for a favor — say hi!
