i knew i was coming out of the severe mental darkness like i always know: i can hear music again. I had forced myself to learn some new tricks on the multitrack sequencing software i use to make music, and i got some loops from a royalty free database. I got this little guitar riff, in E at 85 beats per minute, and as i started building basslines and synth riffs around it i noticed that i didn’t feel so heavy anymore. I’ve been listeing to the track on loop trying to think of suitable lyrics, ripping pages out of my notebook, crumpling them up and throwing them in the trash. The more i force something like that the less it works. i dont want to waste a really good sounding track on rubbish lyrics but ill post a little youtube video i shot of the levels running:
