I am trying to write a book now, so if i don’t blog as much, that is why. i’ll tell you my approach: from the 500 medium posts, take stories in chronological order and put them into a google doc. then, edit them, because in most cases i’ve become a better writer than i was when i wrote them. i’m starting to see a lot of overarching themes.
after editing them,i intend to sew them toghether and augment them, adding context and parts of the missing story in between.
right now i have from my childhood until the graduation of high school, at about 35 pages.
many times i’m overwhelmed by how big this project is, so i just put it down, other times i lose myself in it for hours.
people have told me to write a book, and i finally am.
