I’m very much alone in New York City. I came here alone. My people are elsewhere, family and friends, some close, some far. I am beginning to establish a tribe but the fact is: I’m very much alone.

I have never felt alone.

As cool as it is to pretend that social media, and iPhones are a scourge on the landscape of human interaction, I’m grateful it was all there and continues to be. there are people everywhere i haven't been able to see as often as i’d like…i feel closer than ever to many of them.
