Penn Station, Midtown Manhattan(2018)

When I was living on the the streets of this town, I would go across the street from Penn Station and beg for change. I had a sign that said “GET ME DRUNK”, and I’d sing a few tunes including “Swing Low Sweet chariot”.

I needed a drink, fuck, you could look at my predicament…terrible

People laughed and a few handed me a 5. I guess my singing really inspired their giving spirit. I walked with something like 50 dollars. I am a pretty good singer, ask anyone.
