That’s crazy, man: since starting this blog in the summer of 2021, I’ve written 700 posts and now just shy of 300 folks are following along (last I checked). It’s more crazy that I’ve kept with a project for more than a few weeks at longest, given my history of doing that (my whole life). 2 years and 700 posts man, what an incredible thing to discover in my 30’s, only made possible by the power of technology and the internet.

I don’t know that it ever occurred to me to stop, but if it did it must have been very quickly because even , when I was back on the street running from myself, I was thinking about getting back to writing this thing, and missing it.

The blog now, is about different things than it was 3 months ago, 6 months ago, and definitely different things than it was when it started. I want to write things like the popular posts, again , but I cant because as a creator of content like this, you’re constantly a moving target. What it’s about changes with what i’m about. I know it’s become a lot of tech stuff (and poverty), and if you aren't into that, don’t worry it’ll change eventually to something else… hopefully you'll dig it.

I never feel like i’m phoning it in. it feels like a hundred percent, every time. I think its at least in the high 90’s if not. I have become fully committed to this platform, and writing on it…I became committed hundreds of posts ago.

I need to stop and acknowledge all of those who contribute to the evr0ck initiative, but especially one person in particular. it’s like Orwell wrote in “Animal Farm”: “all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others.” that’s a good quote because she has a whole Instagram account dedicated to the raising of chickens. Amanda R. is someone I've never met in real life, who lives in California and basically has my back all of the time, in case i’m going to starve or something crucial breaks. I had meant to shout her out for a long time, I think the 700th post is good for that. big up to Amanda.

Speaking of things being made possible by the internet, I will soon be late on my bill ($80!) and eventually my internet at home will cease to flow…but you can help!
