Remember that most of us are a few bad moves, or the dealing of a few bad hands away from being them. Mostly they are afflicted with mental illness or chemical dependence…

Treat them like humans, they are us. At one time it was me. They are someone’s brother as was I, someone’s child.

I’m not saying empty your wallet, just that they are treated as more than vermin. Simple humanity and dignity.
