My music teacher Mariano is an award winning documentary filmmaker, and he is making a documentary about music and addiction. It’s going to have musical performances, interviews and stories.
We have been making music every week for months, and he kept talking about me being in the documentary. well, today he brought his really nice camera and we started filming. I was really nervous, but once we got into it it was great.
We ran through “Shine a Light” by the Rolling Stones a few times, because i think it’s appropriate for the subject, and it’s probably the song I've done the best at out of the 7 or 8 we’ve done so far. Some people came through the room that didn’t know I sang and were very shocked. their compliments made me feel amazing, I almost teared up. these people were like “woah man, where did that voice come from?’
so now we are going to film for two hours, two nights a week. i want to think of a few more songs to do. It’s going to be really interesting and scary when I tell some of my stories to this camera.

Side note: It’s been two weeks without singing, and i noticed how much i miss it. i suddenly feel so much better than i did before that, it’s crazy.
